I'm a girl named Dylon. I live in Chicago. I love all things from the past and quite a few from the present, though they are numbered. My favorite things have a dreamy, hazy feel about them. This is my blog where I post things that inspire me and my outfit posts.
"Nothing is real except the present, and already, I feel the weight of centuries smothering me. Some girl a hundred years ago once lived as I do. And she is dead. I am the present, but I know I, too, will pass." -Sylvia Plath
hi dylon! this is in answer to the questions you asked on my blog. i've been sewing for about 7 years now. learning to make accurate clothing is a process, and i am just beginning to feel like i am at a good place in my work. however, i know there is still s much to learn! i have been very blessed to be in areas with great historical events. i see you're in chicago. there is a large living history convention in that area every year. you should check it out!

Hi, thanks for replying!! That information helps me out a lot because it gives me an estimate on how hard I need to work to get to such a level and how long it will take. Thank you so much for the link: it's seems very interesting!!Though I've only just misses it this year, I'll definitely make a plan to go next year. I will email you because my curiosity about historical reproductions is endless! Thanks so much for your help ^^
